This group was the key to understanding back in my day. Practicing note for note, the techniques. Then playing in top 40 bands to pay the utilities and food, rent. My chops grew exponentially. Unfortunatly, the pay did not rise proportionatly. So I became an architect. Attention to detail in both respects. Btw, I dont regret the change. Im still a musician. :)
Mike Clark, Percy Jones John Goodsall at their best. 30 plus years later and this track is just as amazing as it did when I played it on cassette long ago. Brand X Rokks!!
My favourite track on Do They Hurt? I just love this . . . It's got a kind of menace about it especially after the superlative solo. Maybe it's the title and the recent history of Vietnam/Cambodia
One of my favourite Brand X tracks. Like a mash-up of Mahavishnu and Rush, but with that distinct British humour of BX. Other favourites on this album include Voidarama and Fragile. Highly underrated album.
This is my fav Brand X album. Haven't heard it for years because I lost the cassette I had, and couldn't remember the album name. Searched for it on YT many times--thanks a lot for this upload!!
