Oh, how I love this song! Definitely puts me in my happy place, that's for sure. Plus it reminds me of the Bronx Story romance between the Italian kid and the African-American girl for this was the song playing when he was going to pick her up.
Beautiful melody and singing in this song. This is soul at its finest. Maybe I could sing this song to someone one day...

I was fortunate enough to grow up in the 60's hearing great soul from Motown with Levi and the 4 Tops and David Ruffin and theTemptations as well as the great classic rock bands like the Beatles, Cream and the Stones... Best time ever to be alive for such variety in good music. Hands down no other generation even comes close to what we were truly blessed to experience.....
