2 years ago I bought a 1986 BMW 635CSI from the US I wanted to restore and I remember as I was browsing and came across my car, I was listening to this song (one of my favorite disco-ey songs). Fast forward to this summer, I have fully restored and modded the car to be lower and more powerful and added a bit more power to the stereo, all hidden out of sight, looking OEM. The first driving song I picked was this. I wanted to cruise through my neighborhood with this blasting from my slick 80s mobile.
As I fired up that '86 BMW in white, with style 32 wheels, black leather interior and Euro bumpers and I started playing the song, I had shivers down my spine and a tear in my eye. I had my dream 80s car and was listening to my favorite 80s music on a hot, sunny summer day. I felt like I was a hotshot in 1980s Miami in my white 635CSI. Absolutely magnificent moment! Spent the rest of the drive listening to 80s stuff and some Eurodance. It was amazing.Then it started raining and as I tried closing the windows, the driver's window regulator failed and I was soaking wet by the time I got home. But I still had a smile on my face! That's the power of great music!
