Your eyes are the eyes of a woman in love.
And, oh, how they give you away.
Why try to deny you’re a woman in love.
When I know very well what they say.
They say no moon in the sky ever lent such a glow:
Some flame deep within made them shine.
Those eyes are the eyes of a woman in love,
And may they gaze ever more into mine.
Crazily gaze, ever more, into mine.
Those eyes are the eyes of a woman in love,
And may they gaze ever more into mine.
Crazily gaze, ever more, into mine.
I've been a "Frankie Laine" fan since I was a sophomore in high school. I was waiting for a bus after school and "Rose, Rose I Love You" was being piped out side from a tavern. I've been a big fan since 1951.
Great voice, great singing and great song. I first heard of this song was in London in 1956, and it was a "love at first sigh"! Thanks for bringing and sharing it. Hearing it brings to me many fond and loving memories of London in those early years!
Thank you!
Makes me laugh on the show strictly come dancing when they have contestants doing tangos or other dances with totally inappropriate music! Why can't they use old songs like this for example?
Your eyes are the eyes of a woman in love
And, oh, how they give you away
Why try to deny you’re a woman in love
When I know very well what I say
I say, no moon in the sky ever lent such a glow
Some flame deep within made them shine
Those eyes are the eyes of a woman in love
And may they gaze evermore into mine
Tenderly gaze evermore into mine
We used to buy Frankie Laine records in the fifies had all is songs, played them over and over again, never got fed up with them, now they bring back wonderful memories.
