You swear you’ve had enough, you’re ready to give up On that little lie they call love, then out of the blue clear sky
Fallin' right into your hands, like rain on the desert sand
It’s the last thing you had planned out of the blue clear sky.
Here she comes a walkin' talkin' true love
Sayin' I been lookin' for you love
Surprise your new love has arrived
Out of the blue clear sky.
Ain’t love a funny thing, one day you’re givin' up the dream
And the next you’re pickin' out a ring out of the blue clear sky.
You know what I think it is I like about this song so much, aside from it being just a good song outright, plain and simple, is that it reminds me of a time when things in America at least made SOME sort of real sense... Back when we actually had a little of that thing called 'common' sense.
I remember listening to this song back in the 90's when I was little, always loved George Strait's music, hear I am almost 20, and still loving this song :)
I can relate to this song I was 27 and already been through two divorces I said loves just a word people sling around true love no longer exist I gave up on women had 2 hobbies working out and going to church then one day there she was out of the blue clear sky we've been together 4 years and married 3 I've listened to country my whole life though I'm starting to relate to out George Strait songs unfortunately Trbador is one of them I look back and think man I wasted my 20's looking for love but anyway I love George Strait
I picked an iphone on ebay a few years back, and this song was on that phone as the previous owner had not deleted her stuff. Before that I've never heard about George Strait or country. After listening to this song I got hooked. ended up listening to almost all the songs of Strait, and so much of country music.
I'm a huge country fan now!
btw, I live on the other side of the world, in a small island nation called Sri Lanka.
