Look what’s happening out in the streets
Got a revolution Got to revolution
Hey I’m dancing down the streets
Got a revolution Got to revolution
Ain’t it amazing all the people I meet
Got a revolution Got to revolution
One generation got old
One generation got soul
This generation got no destination to hold
Pick up the cry
Hey now it’s time for you and me Got a revolution Got to revolution
Come on now we’re marching to the sea
Got a revolution Got to revolution
Who will take it from you
We will and who are we We are volunteers of America
The boomers' revolution... they switched fast af to "its hip to be square" you know folks... they just "got a haircut and got a real job" and started leeching the whole world till today.
I was a schoolboy when Malcolm x and John F. and Martin Luther where shot. The echo of the violence of WW II was still to be heard. My parents were hurt from all the violence taking place in germany. I was tortured by sadistic teachers. It was not all the nice time you may think. But the music was greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttttttttttt. It was great music in the 60ths and 70ths. A real great time for people that love music.
the only problem I have with that Era was how soldiers were treated. A large percentage of them were drafted to fight in a war they didn't want to be a part of, and when they got home they were treated awful.
You had to be there at the time to really appreciate this one. Remember JFK had
only been in the ground a few years at this point. Oliver Stone was perceptive to
label the assassination "The Rosetta Stone" of American politics. Oswald's tax
returns are still classified because they would have revealed his stipend from the
FBI. That scared Edgar!
