You know you're blessed if you grew up with parents who introduced you to awesome classic songs, artists, and bands like this and many others across all genres of music. I thank God everyday for my parents, especially for them giving me awesome taste in music.
I dare anyone to name a song by Jethro Tull that is not mind-blowing. They may be before my time but they have no current equal. Pop music is farts on a snare drum, compared to Jethro Tull.
Once upon a time there was something called music, and all the boys and girls liked it. There were these men and women who played these strange objects called instruments, and when they opened their mouths they used to 'sing', and it sounded good. I know it's difficult to believe now, but there it is.
i remember when i was a kid. my dad would play the album with this on. i didnt understand it. but it'd be late like 12/1 am. i was young like 7 or 8 yrs old. but id wait for the "lets bungle in the jungle" and dance around my room singing along to it. i know it sounds stupid but that memory means alot to me and i thought id share it ;)
I listened to this song yesterday seated on the sofa with my father in law, while he was showing me his LP collection. I think it has been one of the best moment whit him, telling me about his youth...I will alway remeber
This song came out when I was 13 and I made the “mistake” of telling my classmates it was my favorite. They laughed and made fun of me so I kept it to myself, and never really listened to it again.
I heard it again recently and was reminded that it’s still awesome.
Screw my 13 year old friends; truly, what the hell did they know.
