But you know I have noticed having lived in Philadelphia. All the Italian Americans use this cutting off words technique to try to connect to their roots, and as much as I love the attempt, I feel it falls short. Some friends from Naples may not get this or some might. The dialect if you will that I associate most is Lucano. I am not trying to be rude when I talk about this but it is an observation and conversations with the old Italians (the ones from the years of lead in Italy)
This is rather "Neapolitan" Jingle Bells, not Italian - this is as Italian as maybe Swedish would be English. I understand maybe 4 words of what he sings.
