Thank you. Recorded in Chicago 23 JAN ’51. 3 more cut at that session. All released JUL ’51, except for one. Little Walter played harmonica on Long Distance Call & Too Young to Know not guitar. But ‘Howling Wolf’ (w/o Little Walter) was released in 1970, on the LP They Call Me Muddy Waters (CHESS 1553). Why? Chess Records signed Howlin’ Wolf (“The Howlin’ Wolf”) a few months after this recording; so, to avoid confusion, this session souvenir was kept in the vault for a couple decades! :I:

the buzzing second guitar was played by Little Walter. He also played guitar on Still A Fool. He was as distinctive on guitar as harmonica and used a similar approach.
