Its pretty easy, and "boring" to "analyze" an album that has been released for well over twenty years.  this album was an instant classic.  you cant compare the riffs on this song to anything written recently, that is just not fair.  in 1990 this was it, as far as the scene goes, everything you are comparing this album too had yet to be written.
