By the roadside shrine there’s a place
Selling bouquets of cellophane
That’s where they meet in this desolate place
And the more they see the more they say
Thrown like two winter roses into a broken vase
They’re playing the hand they play
Caught in the game they made
She puts her faith in the moment
Outsiders
He puts his faith in the moment
Outsiders
And his clothes are covered in dew
As she writhes in twisted sheets
Feel the pulse and the power of you
And what you see isn’t what’s underneath
They’re playing the hand they play
Caught in the game they made
She puts her faith in the moment
Outsiders
He puts his faith in the moment
Outsiders
Outsiders x4

fantastic riff , clear sound and vocals that break the heart.
i would also like Morrisey to sing it also . it reminds me a little of Smiths

Epic as always with Suede. I have liked them sins Animal Nitrate, though I had no idea about the implication back then.
This would have been on it's own single tape, who remebers then, as teenager on both sides so it would play on the tape version of repeat.
Thanks to a friend of mine I was able to go and see them live in the 90s in Liverpool. I was so grateful for that gift. I remember it and the way I felt. Thank you Chris for an experience I will never forget..
They've evolved, from the angry but elegant and decadent to the aged but refined, still elegant, and forever ethereal yet piercing into your heart. How I love them.
