Some kind of trouble, just don t ask me what it was Vega, nothing thrown
If you ask that s what i ll say, my name is luka
Just don t ask me what it was, if you ask that s what i ll say
Maybe it s because i m clumsy, walked into the door again, yes i think you ve seen me before
Just don t ask me how i am just don t ask me how i am just don t ask me how i am my name is luka, walked into the door again
and they only hit until you cry
just don t ask me what it was
I try not to act too proud, i live on the second floor
Just don t ask me how i am just don t ask me how i am just don t ask me how i am my name is luka, just don t ask me what it was
And after that you don t ask why, i live upstairs from you, you just don t argue anymore
Some kind of fight, you just don t argue anymore, they only hit until you cry
I live upstairs from you, i live upstairs from you Suzanne, and they only hit until you cry
Some kind of trouble, yes i think you ve seen me before Luka, i live upstairs from you
you just don t argue anymore
Maybe it s because i m crazy, and they only hit until you cry
Some kind of trouble, and after that you don t ask why, and after that you don t ask why
You just don t argue anymore, my name is luka, just don t ask me what it was
if you hear something late at night
you just don t argue anymore
Just don t ask me what it was, just don t ask me what it was
Just don t ask me what it was, and it s not your business anyway
just don t ask me what it was
if you hear something late at night
you just don t argue anymore
If you hear something late at night, just don t ask me what it was
and after that you don t ask why
you just don t argue anymore
and it s not your business anyway
Some kind of trouble, just don t ask me what it was Suzanne, just don t ask me what it was
just don t ask me what it was
some kind of fight
I am a single father and though I was mentaly abused and terrorised in my young days with an alcoholic father I give my son the best love and childhood I can. He is a happy 13 year old boy now. Im glad my love for him was strong enough to make him what he is now and I broke the negative chain from the past.
Love is in your genes
She nailed it. And more than 30 years later it still rings true.
No, I'm not a victim. But I work in a sector that brings me into regular contact with Lukas. And there are still far too many of then out there
My name is Luka
I live on the second floor
I live upstairs from you
Yes I think you've seen me before
If you hear something late at night
Some kind of trouble, some kind of fight
Just don't ask me what it was
Just don't ask me what it was
Just don't ask me what it was
I think it's because I'm clumsy
I try not to talk too loud
Maybe it's because I'm crazy
I try not to act too proud
They only hit until you cry
After that you don't ask why
You just don't argue anymore
You just don't argue anymore
You just don't argue anymore
Yes, I think I'm okay
I walked into the door again
If you ask that's what I'll say
And it's not your business anyway
I guess I'd like to be alone
With nothing broken, nothing thrown
Just don't ask me how I am
Just don't ask me how I am
Just don't ask me how I am
My name is Luka
I live on the second floor
I live upstairs from you
Yes I think you've seen me before
If you hear something late at night
Some kind of trouble, some kind of fight
Just don't ask me what it was
Just don't ask me what it was
Just don't ask me what it was
And they only hit until you cry
After that, you don't ask why
You just don't argue anymore
You just don't argue anymore
You just don't argue anymore
I heard this on the radio the other day and cried, it didn't affect me when in 1987 when I was 17 like it does now that I'm an single Dad who had a good childhood and raised my kids the same. There's too many Lukas in the world though, I wonder if Suzanne knows how many lives she might have saved with this song.
My mother was abusive and I really connected with Luka. I remember her losing her temper with me because I'd lost my slippers, I was five, anyway she found them and threw them at me and they hit me straight in the eye. She was so scared and made me rehearse some bull's hit story to tell my teacher at school...she wouldn't let me leave until it was word perfect and stood over me while I told the teacher. It was the first time I thought to myself: She knows this is wrong. This song gave me a lot of hope.
