I am 57 now and in many respects I do not feel my age at all, but when it comes to music and I see and hear what people are listening to today, I want to climb into a time machine and press 1965 and go back. There is very little today that moves me in the way that the stuff from 1963-1979 did.

I bought this 45 in 1966 when I was thirteen years old and I played it over and over again on my teenage record player. It's still perfect, exciting, rousing --- certainly among the very best of the great music of its day. The Hollies harmonies are soaring. I never get tired of this song. The smiles on the faces of the singers are so full of genuine pleasure, it is wonderful to watch them perform it.

f******g brilliant. spent many a night of my youth singling along to the hollies. Saw them twice live. Brilliant bank. Much of todays crap does not even compare regardless of what modern music moguls say or think.

Don't forget or miss Graham Nash's (of CSN&Y) contribution. Paul McCartney said when he heard this on vinyl, he thought Nash's soaring, intertwining vocal part was performed by an instrument he was so impressed. The guy could and still can sing!

Wow just wow!!! Absolutely stunning. Best band ever out of England or anywhere anytime. This is just as fresh, exciting and relevant as it was in 1965 and will always will be. It should be in the Top Ten on the Billboard charts right now. What we have now is pure garbage and non music filth. The devolution and dumbing down of America. So I listen to all of this and similar inspiring uplifting music from the 60's and the rest of the time to classical music. I try to protect my intelligence and keep my vibrations operating on a higher octave and the Hollies are a perfect tuning fork for that. They send you to a better place vibrating high and leaving you satisfied and with a smile on your face.

I wore this 45 single OUT when I was a kid. Drove my grandmother crazy at first, eventually she was dancing with me.

Quintessential 60's song, driving intro, super harmonies, overlapping vocal parts, chiming guitar solo, this song has it all. I think this is the best overall Hollies single, it's an uplifter.

Underrated band. Graham Nash, Alan Clarke and Tony Hicks have a great harmony. One of many great tunes.
