Till then, my darling, please wait for me Till then, no matter when it may be One day I know I’ll be home again
Please wait till then
Our dreams will live though we are apart
Our love will always stay in our hearts
Till then, when all the world will be free
Please wait for me Although there are oceans we must cross
And mountains that we must climb
I know every gain must have a loss
So pray that our loss is nothing but time
Till then, we’ll dream of what there will be Till then, we’ll call on each memory
Till then, when I will hold you again
Please wait till then
Dean Martin often spoke of how The Mills Brothers were his greatest influence. I can remember hearing them on the radio in the '40s. Such rich voices and harmony.
This song is so wonderfully soft, and something about the sort of swinging tempo, I can't help but sway to the song, close my eyes, and dream of the day I sing this to a very special woman~
Such a Beautiful song......This group was so mellow...Great version.......I believe this one....even tho it is an older version is the best.version
Thank You....John..
So many heroes listened and listened to this in the war. As a child, I thought it was the most beautiful song I I knew. So many years, later my eyes still tear up. Who are the wretched soul-less 16 who press the down arrow key here? How unhappy they must be.
Till then, my darling, please wait for me
Till then, no matter when it will be
Some day I know I'll be back again
Please wait till then
Our dreams will live though we are apart
Our love I know we'll keep in our hearts
Till then, when all the world will be free
Please wait for me
Although there are oceans we must cross
And mountains that we must climb
I know every gain must have a loss,
So pray that our loss is nothing but time
Till then, let's dream of what there will be
Till then, we'll call on each memory
Till then, when I will hold you again
Please wait till then
Although there are oceans we must cross
And mountains that we must climb
I know every gain must have a loss,
So pray that our loss is nothing but time
Till then, let's dream of what there will be
Till then, we'll call on each memory
Till then, when I will hold you again
Please wait till then
"I know there are oceans we must cross,
And mountains that we must climb.
I know every gain must have a loss,
And pray that our loss is nothing but time.
Till then, let's dream of what there will be,
Till then, we'll call on each memory,
Till then, when I will be back again,
Please wait till then."
I don't know when exactly I listened to this song for the first time, in a movie may be or on an online radio three or four years ago, but each time I listen to it, it strokes my heart and squeezes it so badly in a way that makes me want to cry :blue_heart: it's very beautiful and haunting and painful and makes me feel that I'm very lucky to know such a beauty.
Thank you for uploading it.
I'm a big fan for your channel by the way.
