My lips were so afraid to say «I love you»
Remember when (dah-doot-doo-doo), to my surprise (dah-doot-doo-doo)
The heaven in my heart leaped into your eyes
Remember how much I cried
It was dumb to think you were mine
Darling, down deep inside
I still feel that feeling divine
I loved you then (dah-doot-doo-doo) and I still do (dah-doot-doo-doo)
I can’t remember when I didn’t love you
Remember how much I cried
It was dumb to think you were mine
Darling, down deep inside
I still feel that feeling divine
I loved you then and I still do I can’t remember when I didn’t love you
aaw they certainly don't make them like that anymore, more's the pity. Most of the songs from way back then were about love, but nowadays they are full of despair, sad for the youngsters of today, they've missed the best of this world I'm afraid.
My Dad played his Platters albums all the time when I was growing up...These songs take me back to what I remember as the beginning of our family. Now that I am the only one left in our family, these songs are even more precious to me...
while I don't not of that times... I like this music, and now I remember that crazy lover who loves is also music, it is almost inevitable remember that nostalgia soft touch and a bit sad at the same time, because in the end it seems that I concluded by recalling just in lonely for now :(
