I've always loved this track and the older I get the more it reminds me of the Overlook Hotel in Stephen Kings's The Shining. It has a perfect haunted ballroom sound

When you listen to this it makes you want to dance on and on and on it that good

When we emmigrated from Malta back in 1963, I remember hearing this song either on the ship or soon after we arrived I'm not entirely sure .... But hey, not a bad memory considering I was only 5 years old at the time! ... Anyway many, many years went by ( ... I was well into my late 40's or even later I can't pin down exactly when ) but since I'm such a romantic at heart I started to find myself humming this song but not knowing why. It just kept nagging at me, I'd hum the song & just remember it taking me back to when our family were on the boat back in 1963 coming into Sydney Harbour. (...talk about songs taking you back hey ?) More time went by, but that song was not going away & pestered the crap out of me as again, I'd find myself humming it at the most random of times. So I just had to know it's roots to put it to bed. It seemed to take ages to research WHAT the actual song was, but I just knew the melody of the song & went from there. And Yep, "Dance On" ~ by The Shadows it was! ... Thank You Hank & Co. ... No wonder I pursued a lifelong passion for Guitar Playing as a young teenager, a passion that has stayed with me ever since and one that has never failed me whether through thick & or through thin! ... True Story
