The more you think of the lyrics, the more you realize him killing her was right yet wrong, the world is rotten always has been, he saved her from having to deal with the treachery humans cause to one another, in the end human life ends because of humans nothing else
I've read a lot of theories about this song, and I agree with all the theories. About it being her killing herself, or that the woman is sick and the man killed her so she didn't have to suffer. Or that it's about a woman in an abusive relationship and is justifying the abusers actions towards her.

Aurora is well know for writing songs about nature, right.
So I think the song is about humans and mother nature. Humans are sometimes referred to as mankind (he). We (he) are ruining our nature (mother). So mother is trying to justify our actions towards her, even though she knows that it's wrong and it's hurting her. "He's killing me for mercy". Another reason why I think it's about nature, is because Aurora has butterflies on her. Meaning she represents the nature.

I don't understand why people say she's like other singers, she is original and authentic, she doesn't copy anyone and doesn't use playback because her voice is beautiful and she doesn't need to be like other one, she's just herself, she writes her own music because she is very creative and I love her for that.
