Will someone please upload "Foggy Mountain Breakdown" By Bill Monroe? I can't find it anywhere.

I will never get tired of this song, particularly this version. It's pure magic.

This is the definitive version of this tune. One would be hard pressed to find a better rendition. This version of the Bluegrass Boys was a once in a life time occurrence. Monroe, Flatt, Scruggs and Chubby Wise were Bluegrass Ninjas!

What year was this recording?

I had to turn that up some more.

I still think the original Bluegrass Breakdown is better than the Foggy Mountain Breakdown that Earl created later on based off this tune.

Hard to believe that this was Earl's true debut. The beginning. I love listening to him play all the way through.

Bill Monroe 'invented' Bluegrass music in the 1940's and it is played worldwide in his style (as presented here). I disagree with the President's comments giving a specific group of people sole credit for all musical genres, that is not only divisive, but its WRONG.  Most music has its roots in Africa, but after that. So what. Bluegrass was created on the Stage of the Grand Old Opry, there is a plague at the Ryman that explains this, and the modern day truth of the matter.

RIP.Will be missed by many!
