I was there...it was a glorious day in beautiful Hyde Park...the weather was beautiful, the crowd was wonderful, the concert was free and Blind Faith brought their fabulous combined talent to us.....it doesn't happen like that anymore....... sadly.

The entire band, a powerful force performing this. Though it seems new and different as they were together for such a short time. But, with Winwood's grace on as a keyboard player, Clapton's blues influenced sound, a strong rhythm by Grech and the ultimate of jazz technical spontaneity by Baker, it's such a great sound. 1969 sounds amazing right now.

I think they had to be in the presence of The Lord that day! The sun was shining (Hyde park no less), everyone was enjoying themselves, no violence and unmatched music. Every time I watch this I just want to cry......and long to go back in time.
