I remember there was this great college radio station in the 90s-00s, RISD iirc. Played all kinds of underground & weird shit, & the oddball hits like this one. I was lucky to grow up listening to it, got me into good music at the tender age of 11. Lol, I was obsessed with a Stone Roses song they played, & while on vacation in CA, I went to a Tower Records to buy the album. I'll never forget the shocked look of the sales associate, this little girl asking for a very "alternative" band from England. Ah, youth in the 90s.
Also, I think nirvana opened for these guys in a tour, and then a year later, they opened for nirvana. Funny how life works.

"You never know just how you look through other people's eyes." To me one of the best lyrics ever written in the history of music. I mean, BS didn't invent that saying, but to inject it into a song is great. I remember being a certain age and realizing that fact. I've told many an adult that very same thing. Usually goes in one ear and out the other. You might think you are cool or hip or edgy or smart or not drunk but those around you may see something very different.
