A treasure of love, is fine
Its waiting for you, if your hear, ar, art isn’t blind
A treasure of love, is not very far
It glows like fire and it shi-i-ines, like a star
Its stronger than diamonds and worth more than gold
This is a treasure that never grows old
The treasure of love is found on no chart
To find where it is just look in your heart
Its stronger than diamonds and worth more than gold
This is a treasure that never grows old
The treasure of love is found on no chart
To find where it is just lo-a-ook in your heart
Most of these oldies seem to evoke a special kind of inspiration, they are with the capacity to prompt a more positive emotional state, that enables one to focus with a greater sense of belief, in ones self.
Junior/Senior Prom for sure. Brings tears to my eyes, along with many beautiful memories of growing up in Louisiana in the "50s & '60's. Gotta love You Tube!!
Beautiful voice and great song. Too bad we lost you way too young Clyde.
Rest in Peace. I'm sure you are with many of the wonderful artists who are in heaven also.
Another hit written by my Lafayette High School (Brooklyn, NY) English teacher, Joe Shapiro, who also wrote "Round and Round" and "Think Twice," among others. I believe this one was credited to him and Lou Stallman, another Brooklynite.
