to the five day crime once more
I ll lose my head tonight, i ll lose my head tonight, today i might be mad
i got friday on my mind
hey i ll change that scene one day
I got friday on my mind, gonna have fun in my shirt, i ll spend my bed tonight
Gonna be with my girl she so pretty, coz i got friday on my mind Friday, more then working for the rich man
Even my old man looks good, i ve got friday on my mind, monday i ve got friday on my mind
Thursday goes too slow, coming tuesday i feel better My, nothing seems to bore me
Today i might be mad, i got friday on my mind
Hey i ll change that scene one day, to the five day crime once more
i ll lose my head tonight
I gotta get tonight, monday morning feels so bad
i ve got friday on my mind
Everyone seems to nag me, but tomorrow i ll be glad
Gonna have fun in my shirt, gonna be with my girl she so pretty On, monday i ve got friday on my mind
to the five day crime once more
More then working for the rich man, gonna be with my girl she so pretty
monday morning feels so bad
But tomorrow i ll be glad, coming tuesday i feel better
More then working for the rich man, more then working for the rich man
Everyone seems to nag me, today i might be mad
I ve got friday on my mind, monday morning feels so bad Mind, nothing seems to bore me
today i might be mad
today i might be mad
but tomorrow i ll be glad
i gotta get tonight
Monday i ve got friday on my mind, but tomorrow i ll be glad
Today i might be mad, wednesdays just don t go My, i gotta get tonight
Was in a traffic jam with my Mum and I thought, "ok, time for some Gary Moore" and when this played she sang along and I was like WTF. Never knew she was a Gary Moore fan, great music going full circle xD.
Vander & Young from the Easybeats who wrote the song said this was the best cover that was done, as Bowie and Peter Frampton had a go at it as well. They said Gary’s cover was great, so that just about says it all. RIP great man.
Not a British Invasion song. The Easybeats were an Australian group. Their original was fantastic. This was a great version. Not a cover, because they changed things. Great drumming on this version; I was surprised how well the heavy rock treatment worked. But great art can only ever be great art, I guess.
The man was a Genious of a guitar player and Legend. So sad that he is gone with Rory, Jimmy, Philo, Jack and the rest. RIP lads and take a break, yee earned it.
