Gene Pitney - Tower Tall download song

I have always been a Gene Pitney fan. Never heard this one before. yes it is a great song and the message is a good one. sigh I really did live through the best era of music. thanks for posing it.

I don't understand why this doesn't have a million hits and that many "likes". His music was SO wonderful! I thank you for sharing with us all.

another of his underrated songs Gene PITNEY. one of the great singers who never got the acclaim that others got ..in my book he is right up there with Elvis aloha from Hawaii..humblely handsome Ron

I fell in love with this song back in 60's. Sparkle of diamond, whisper, and love of tower tall... Such a beautiful song, yet sad.

This was always my favorite Pitney song - so haunting and lovely a melody and his voice so perfect......... My second fav is Liberty Valance........ All the others are wonderful as well. I'm so glad to have enjoyed his music so many years ago then find it here now ! ! !

i saw gene when he came to tulsa with the dick clark caravan. what a great voice. i have this song as a single, but could never find it on a cd. thanks for posting it.

I was born in 1961 and I vidily remembered listening to this on a 45 every day in my house when I was maybe 5-6 years old.  Thanks to the internet, I could find this and re-live my early childhood memory.

Wonderful song from Gene Pitney that I have not heard since the sixties. I loved his voice then and still do aged 65. In my opinion , one of the 20th century best singers and not to forget his song writing hits for others. thank you for the upload. 

this was the "b" side of half heaven -half heart ache. a great song in it's own right. great for slow dancing. never could find it on a cd, so it's good to hear it here after all these years. thanks.

When I was 13 the Big Sixteen album had been out for a few months and I was a big Gene Pitney fan at the time. For my birthday that year I got a record player and 2 albums one was the Big Sixteen Album. I have spent the last 15 years trying to get a copy of that album. I am down to 2 tracks needed to complete this task The Ship True Love Goodbye and Take Me Tonight. Can anyone tell me where I might be able to purchase these track to complete my collection. He will always be missed.

I know this beautiful song doesn't rank up there with most of the very romantic rap tunes some people listen to these days, but it isn't bad. It happens to be our song. We were married in '66. Still married, still love "our song".
