If Wilson made the original and Frost sampled the cover version then who got paid for use of the sample? Wilson or El Chicano?

Respect to Gerald Wilson, this is the original but I still like El Chicano's version better, totally different vibe.

This is my all-time favorite jazz track from my favorite jazz artist. It reminds me of those balmy evenings in Hermosa Beach at The Lighthouse Cafe and listening to great music, especially from The Gerald Wilson Band.

Real Jazz that deliver a gold touch of big band sound The Great Gerald Wilson Orchestra that would pour it on in a Latin Jazz feel. So many great jazz artist came from this band Harold Land Roy Ayers Joe Pass who also played for Nancy Wilson on her showcases.

RIP my friend. Still have all your music, but not the same as going to Marty's on The Hill or Monterey to see and hear you. Memories, I've got quite a few. Thanks for all you gave.
