20 years after Johns passing , his songs and lyrics STILL touch your Heart , Way ahead of his time , I remember in the 70's "Poems, Prayers, and Promises album" , playing his music and singing along at the Bonfires we used to have .... so many memories ... R.I.P John Denver

ever consider that this man was so far ahead of his time... Consider the lyrics in this song and apply it to todays events and lifestyle we have had to become accustomed to. The man virtually predicted the events of 911, the war in Afghanistan, and the end results and putting the trust of future generations in the hands of our then children...just a thought, but if you listen to the lyrics from about the 1:50 mark on.. you will hear it from his own voice..Thoughts..??

This song gets to my soul*!

My lord I love this song. The children and the flowers are my sister and my brothers...I wish everyone in America would listen to this song. Our world as it stands is of deep concern.. We sometimes forget about the future in this day and age. This song is so awfully powerful without question.
