Nina dressed in all black totally mastering her craft. The riff at 2:57 and the way she throws her hand at its finish is just awesome.

This woman was one of nature's musical gifts to humanity.   She could sing a Betty Crocker recipe an' still sound great.

She has no peer. I am rendered speechless Everytime.

Listen to how subtly she adds those notes to the guitar piece at the end... Such humility doesn't exist in today's music; the artists' egos don't allow for them to be anything but selfish

I love how she combines American and African elements with this Scottish song.  It really makes in interesting to listen to.

This is an old Irish ballad. As an Irishman I can say I have never, ever, heard a more beautiful rendition.

She had a really hard life but I think that's the reason she could put so much emotion in a song. I never found someone who can stand comparison with her.

When my son was born, the doctor said his hair was "black as night"; amazingly enough whenever he was fuzzy and wouldn't stop crying, I would sing this song to him and he'd come down and go to asleep.....I've always found Ms. Simone's music amazing and touching. Thank you for posting this song...I'm in tears.

I like this performance, but I also like the audience.  They know when something special is happening, and they know how to let the quietness resonate.  Seems like that is pretty rare these days.

Sometimes, when I listen to Nina, the depth of her pain radiates through my body. Her talent, her pain, her gifts were all intertwined to create, in my opinion, one of the greatest artists ever.
