I think the song is about suicide, getting to the edge and deciding to live. "a hand shake of carbon monoxide" wanting to die and your death not to cause any alarms or surprises. And this genius video shows Thom literally surviving and coming back with the energy of life, "such a pretty house and such a pretty garden." We are very blessed to share this earth with Thom Yorke, all I can say for sure.
