I have always thought that Ronnie Milsap was one of our greatest male vocalists. But that is just my opinion. It might be better to say that he is my favorite male vocalist of all time.
This was back in the GLORY days when the A.M. radio stations was playing sensible music, regardless of the genre of music.
This Air Force vet says God Bless to all. :-)
Just think of the hardship Ronnie Milsap had to endure, he was born with a disease that left him nearly blind, and would eventually lose his eyesight entirely. He was also abandoned by his mother while he was an infant and then raised in poverty. Despite all of his hardships he developed a musical talent and shared his talent with the world. It is amazing that many of the most gifted artists are blind; Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder and Terri Gibbs to name a few.
