What a beautiful thought I am thinking concerning the great speckled bird
Remember her name is recorded on the pages of God’s holy word
Desiring to lower her standards they watch every move that she makes
They long to find fault with her teaching but really they find no mistakes
I am glad I have learned of her meekness I’m proud that my name is in the book
For I want to be one never fearing the face of my Saviour’s true look

Beautiful,I had the wonderful privilege of Meeting Rose about 17 yrs ago in Reno Nevada,I got to sit and listen to she and Marty Davis record a gospel album.Larry Murphy played beautiful lap steel guitar...any chance you could find that and include it in your play list?

Saw her twice. At the sportsman's lodge in Studio City, Calif back in the early 1990s. She was more than just fantastic. Her song would reach deep from her soul so much so that they would enter the soul of the listener. We will miss her for there was only one Rose Maddox.. Good bye, my friend.
