The Who were musicians and songwriters that pushed the boundaries of pop music and laid down the foundations of modern rock.
I could go on and on about loads of musical bands back then. I really couldn't find a bad band back then. Now y'all know why the '60s and '70s were the golden era of pop music, and today being the golden era of mass technology. It was a different time.

Keith Moon was a crazy drummer with originallity, good skills and sympathy. I love Keith Moon and he is still living everytime I listen The Who. Instead John Entwistle he is the best Bass player EVER!! Thunderfingers never die!

I once tricked a whole crowd into liking The Who, by making them think this song was The Beatles.
It was at a party, where most there were very prejudiced against The Who (or any good rock) without having tried them.
I stuck on 2 early Beatles songs (Hard Day's Night, and I can't remember the other) then slid this song in 3rd. Everyone thought it was great _ especially the drums (in the non-vocal bit) in the middle.
They were surprised not to have heard that "Beatles" song before. Then I triumphantly told them Who it really was.... ;-)
