Don't want to wait 'til tomorrow
Why put it off another day
One more walk through problems
Built up, and stand in our way, ah
One step ahead, one step behind me
Now you gotta run to get even
Make future plans, don't dream about yesterday, hey
C'mon turn, turn this thing around
Right now, hey
It's your tomorrow
Right now,
C'mon, it's everything
Right now,
Catch a magic moment, do it
Right here and now
It means everything
Miss the beat, you lose the rhythm
And nothing falls into place, no
Only missed by a fraction
Slipped a little off your pace, oh
The more things you get, the more you want
Just trade in one for the other
Workin' so hard, to make it easier, whoa
Got to turn, c'mon turn this thing around
Right now, hey
It's your tomorrow
Right now
C'mon, it's everything
Right now
Catch that magic moment, do it
Right here and now
It means everything
It's enlightened me, right now
What are you waitin' for
Oh, yeah, right now
Right now, hey
It's your tomorrow
Right now
C'mon, it's everything
Right now
Catch that magic moment, and do it right, right now
Oh, Right now
It's what's happening?
Right here and now
Right now
It's right now
Oh,
Tell me, what are you waiting for
Turn this thing around
Morning cereal in elementary school while this video was playing on MTV. Kids today don't have that kind of awesomeness to get the day started. I feel for them.
Sammy Hagar's voice was meant for nothing but singing RnR! This song is just EPIC.
Let's all Pray 4 Eddie..RIGHT NOW!!!
What a classic rock song, love the piano riff at the beginning, love the guitar solo
Van Halen is so interesting because they were almost like 2 different bands. The first one was like aliens dropped in from another planet and changed the face of rock music. 6 albums of angry, groovy, screaming, cool virtuoso music. The second one was more mature, more laid back, more comfortable with themselves, but at the same time still rocking hard, and still cranking out timeless music. Right Now sounds fresh today, and probably will 50 years from now. 2 decades of dominance by two very different halves of the same band.
About 2 years ago my chocolate lab of 10 years had eye cancer , the vet said we could remove his eye and it might slow the cancer but she wasent sure. That dog was my best friend, anyways I pulled into a parking lot after getting off the phone with the vet and broke down. I just did not want to deal with it. Then this song comes on the radio. I've heard it many times , this was the first time i actually listened to what sammy was saying. Then it hit me. Each day is a gift , make the best of it. No one can promise you tomorrow. I felt so much better.
Went ahead with the operation
That gave 8 more months with him and sadly the cancer took over and I had to put him down. Whenever I hear this song it brings a smile to my face and I think about Gizmo.
RIP my loyal friend. We will meet again
