I just love Vince Guaraldi. Not just because my name is really Charlie Brown either.

everytime i google this, i keep getting linus and lucy, it's starting to piss me off

There's not too many things on this earth more soothing and calming than some good smooth jazz!   The jazz in the Charlie Brown cartoons are absolutely amazing!  Brings back amazing childhood memories; thanks for sharing!

This took so long to find why

i felt like i heard something similar in the background of a few boondocks episodes

all those great Peanuts television shows in the 60's and 70's.....great memories.

I got into a fight with an old GF over this song. She insisted that "Linus & Lucy" was "The Charlie Brown Theme". When she found out that THIS was "The Charlie Brown Theme", this was her response: HER: "Vince Guaraldi was WRONG." My response: ME: "No, YOU were." She threw me out and got someone else two days later. Over a DAMN song. GREAT song, though.

Charlie Brown got respect from Vince Guaraldi.

Great song, but it seems like it's missing a piece of it that I recall hearing from listening to the audio cassette way back when.  It might have been from "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" audio cassette, but I'm not entirely sure.

I keep thinking of the end of It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, whenever I hear this. ... Linus yelling... The Great Pumpkin WILL APPEAR! JUST WAIT 'TIL NEXT YEAR, CHARLIE BROWN!!! Charlie Brown sits there with an Oh, good grief look on his face.
