Walter was the greatest electronic organist to me, and he proved you could take a lower priced Hammond L-100 and rip it up into pure organ bliss! Had my my parents bought Walter Wanderley records to go with the L113 they bought I'd probably have played it more. Instead I gravitated to guitar, the EZ-to be cool instrument. Go into Sam Ash or Guitar Center and it's all guitars. People equate organ with the Hammond B3 and Jimmy Smith and Deep Purple's John Lord, but Walter's style is the coolest!!
