Everything that you are
That you’d like to be Will come in three, my friend
Times thine inequity
The flutes of the chi
Will sound again, my friend
Wrap yourself up in gold
The fruits of the old
Are ripe to be told, my friend
For it’s not what you are
How you’ve come to be All this will end and begin again
Everything that you are
That you’d like to be Will come in three, my friend
Times thine inequity
The flutes of the chi
Will sound again, my friend
Just in case you need to know the greatness of the Boognish, they beat the Fab Four in their own game. This song - no, this album is the greatest Beatles record that never was.
This song destroys everything I am.
They're gifted at song-writing. The best ever. I don't understand how these guys with their hilarious and brown personalities put such beauty and pleasantries in to some songs. Unique.
I've been binging on Ween lately. I tihnk this is one of their most serious and spiritual songs, and also one of my favorite. But it's so hard to pick a favorite with them, they're one of those bands.

Some songs, you can show to people and say "Hey, check out this part", or say "Isn't this groovy?", and they'll dig it just for that. This isn't one of those songs... Some songs have a way of pulling something from the depth of your being, it either hits you or it doesn't. That's what this song does to me; it digs up intense emotions that I'm not sure where to place. I'm certainly glad to be feeling them though..
Alright ween you got me, you made me tear up
This song really hits you somewhere on a personal level when you hear it. The sound and the lyrics just remind you of everything in life fast and hard. That’s what I love about it, it just brings you so much back into reality that it makes you start to almost cry. Memories of all the good and bad that has happened in your life just come flooding back.
This song was always special to my mom and I just because it was one of the first Ween songs I showed her. As time passed, she became almost as big of a Ween fan as I am (minus The Pod...she never quite got that one). She was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, and two weeks later, she was gone. I played this song to her during her final hours in the ICU and sang to her. It will always, always hold a special place in my heart. We love Ween so much and they brought us so much closer. I miss her already.
I am automatically in love with people that love this song. I hate that I'm not friends with any other ween fans! I don't like any of today's mainstream.
