There are certain records that define a genre so completely that they belong in Webster's Dictionary. Anyone wanting to define Soul music in one three minute record, I recommend putting this masterpiece on. Everyone performing on this record keeps it amazingly simple and just lets what I call "da feelin'" take over. All Mr. Pickett has to do is bring in the goods (and he does in big heaping chunks). The result is a performance that struts so hard that it owns the place. So much Soul here it is therapeutic, I will never get enough of this.
