When I was 12 years old I put my 45 rpm under my pillow and played this song over and over! I loved the wicked Wilson Pickett! RIP!

Wilson Pickett was utterly unique in the history of soul music; only Johnny Taylor and James Brown got close to his style, but Pickett was the one and only ... and this song is one of his best early-career songs done at Stax Records, before he split for Muscle Shoals with Jerry Wexler. It's unbelieveable how tight the band was!
