This is a great album and such a great song. Just wish the song was longer.

This song will never ever age

A family friend gave 52nd Street to me for a birthday present in 1978. I thought at the time as a 13 year old, he didn't put much thought into that present and he doesn't really know me. This friend passed away from cancer not long after and little did I know that this album would trigger my admiration for Billy Joel and he is still one of my favourite artists. Thank you and RIP friend. It was one of the best presents I've ever received. I just didn't know it at the time.

Its a damn shame he is only in NY and FL most times :( i don't want to die without seeing Billy Joel live in concert but I sure as hell don't want to go those places damn it!

I think this was my very first record, this or Turnstiles. His music still comforts me. I love all the b-sides on every album.

I used to listen to this CD non stop.  My parents bought it for me because I loved the song Big Shot so much when I was a kid.  Thanks Mom and Dad!

With the end of this tune, I can finally say I’ve heard every Billy Joel album (that he recorded himself). 52nd Street is the only one I had overlooked from January 1980 (my birth) to November 2019. Fantasies and Delusions will have to wait.

Most cool number in the album. I coudn't Understand.when I was Cheeky brat.

This sounds as slick as it did on vinyl all those decades ago, smooth & sexy. Light up a smoke, have a cold beer & put on some Billy before going out to meet your lady friend for more drinks & wherever the night would take you. NYC, 1970s nightlife.

Pretty good song for 70's, to be honest.

This entire album is great...still get emotional hearing "Until The Night".
