Almost 20 ..years ago.. I finished college, had no idea what I wanted to do. Being from Florida i decided to move to NYC. Slept on a friends couch for a full year. Everyday looked for a job, everyday ate cheap, wore the same 3 outfits. I busted my ass. Then finally one day I got more than 6 opportunities. Now everytime I'm walking to work from the train station I listen to this song and it reminds me of how this city made a man outta me . I love you big

I was 10 when I left New York and moved to Florida , my dad still lives up in Manhattan and now I’m 14 and made my decision to live with him. New York is my home and anywhere else just feels weird idk how to explain it. Whenever I go back I feel so at peace and at home. The ppl in Florida are nothing like the ppl in New York but I hate it so much. Moving back up in the summer

my mother took me to see Billy Joel when I was 7 that was 40 years ago and I've never ever stopped listening to him. I know every song by heart that he's ever sang. I really love him and his music. I had forgotten just how many songs he has. where it all cones from we'll not never know but u tell you this he's more than awesome.
