Meet El Presidente from Duran Duran is one more song inspired by Japan they can't deny the fact they were cruelly attracted by them

One of the most highly underrated bands in British History. You listen to any 70's or 80's station from the UK and you will never here them get air play yet they are probably singularly the greatest influence on the new wave invasion of the early and mid 80's.

Gentlemen Take Polaroids was one of the greatest albums ever released. Privileged to see them live in 1982. Whenever i hear their songs, nostalgia kicks in and transports me back to my youth and Melanie. Miss those days.

Top quality band from a period when some people couldn't see beyond the make up and hairdos. Which came first Roxy Music, Duran Duran, it doesn't really matter to me they were all part of a great and influencial music scene. RIP Mick Kahn.

I'll never forget Mick Karn dancing around the stage, ballet style, while playing the bass. Amazing live band!

THE most Underated band of the 80's and COMPLETELY ripped off by Duran Duran, don't think Sylvian wanted that route though ..saw them in 82 Lancaster University ..happy times
