This man is not just a guitar shredder, but a true musician. He knows how to generate varying moods and evoke so much emotion with his playing, and while he is technically world-class, he never forgets the musical aspect of his songs. What a legend!

The only reason people are hating on Joe Satriani.....Personally my guitar idol. Is simply because they can. All we fans can do is keep appreciating his strange beautiful music and leave the haters to their own little delusional world. Where everything is perfect and no one is allowed to deviate from their chosen style. Joe can play what he likes because he has earned his creative freedom. He is not tied down to the machine. he simply plays what is in his heart and soul.

Everyone is welcome to their opinion. All I know is how it makes me feel, and it feels good, and that's all that matters to me...I have listened to many other highly skilled players technically speaking, but so many miss the mark, they don't seem to know how to express feeling through their playing.just so many notes flying by with no meaning or relevance. Eric Clapton once said " you can say more with just a few well placed notes then you can with a 100 ill placed ones".

If you do not like his music, well dumbass, YOU ARE TONE-DEAF! He is a brilliant artist and one of the few who definitely knows what music is all actually about.

The 2nd half of this song is so violent and brutal. I love many things about Satch's playing, but I think one of the things I love most is how he doesn't shred just for the sake of it. Every single note and nuance has a purpose, even when it is so violent as this. The man is a huge talent. After listening to his songs for over 20 years I still hear something new in them that I didn't hear the last time. Genius. 

Joe Satriani is a kind of predictable and constantly repeats himself. I mean, every time he creates a song he creates masterpiece.

No doubt that Satch is the most complete rock guitarist of all time.

The difference with a greatful respectful artist, and one who is not. I met Joe Satriani several times now, and he's always polite, signed autographs for me, let me get a picture with him more then once. Justin Bieber was in a mall and spitting on his fans who were down below him on the first floor! Nothing more then a brat kid that corporate stuffed shirts decided to promote and give fame to. Joe Satriani is real talent, and worked his ass off to get where he is today!
