Someday when things are good, I’m gonna leave you.
I can’t seem to go when things are bad.
I’ll be one more love that you can dream about,
And one more man that you can say you’ve had.
You’ll always be the kind to dream of yesterday.
And a way of life I never understood.
And someday soon I’ll be just one more memory.
And you’ll call my name when things are not so good.
Someday when things are good, I’m gonna leave you.
I can’t seem to go when things are bad.
I’ll be one more love that you can dream about,
And one more man that you can say you’ve had.
This was big when my second wife and I were going through some real rough times. Love the song because this is what I told her over and over. It did finely happen.
It's a sad state of affairs that Country Music is now dominated by talentless, third-rate hacks like Luke Bryan, instead of timeless legends like Merle.
I met him once. The day he died our town basically shut down cus he lived here for so many years. People were crying in the streets of Palo Cedro Caifornia. We miss you Merle.
