One of my favorite Styx songs. I think everybody can relate to this song at one time or another. Still one of the great bands out of the 70s. I think I have all their vinyl except Paradise Theatre. When they hired Tommy Shaw, they could not have done any better.
I’m 56 yrs on this earth. This has been my fav song since it was released. A great song for a mixed-up teenaged runaway. I’ll never forget. And so it is
People have the right to their opinion and taste in music,a person calls another band crap because they have no clue as to what it takes to put together a great show like Styx could do,nor does the critic have the talents of a Tommy Shaw,Dennis DeYoung,James Young,John Panozzo,Chuck Panozzo and John Curulewski
I love this song to death! I wasn't alive when it came out, heck, Im not even an adult yet. But I have never liked the new era of music. I grow up with this stuff, at least in my house. While all the other kids were listening to Justin Bieber, or Tailor Swift, or something like that, I was listening to REAL music. Styx has to be my favorite bands, and I love all of their songs. But, I think this and "Come sail away" Have to take the cake as my favorites.
Tommy Shaw sings like a bird, damn he's so freaking good, kick ass guitar player too. Of course JY kills it too. Wish I had a Crystal ball sometimes too.......
Just saw Styx this summer and this is one of my favorite songs. Being 19 years old I was probably one of the youngest at the concert for sure. Wish more people my age would learn to appreciate music like this..
my daddy plays this for me every single time I'm going through a hard time. ..I'm 30 and remember it from when I was little. .so relevant to my relapses and struggles in life ....makes me cry everytime ..
Tommy Shaw proved himself immediately after joining Styx with this absolutely mesmerizing song. A perfect song from one of my favorite rock albums ever. This album was a huge part of the soundtrack to my childhood. I played this album SO much and never grew tired of it. A testament to its awesomeness!
