I witnessed the mighty Killing Joke twice at the Hammersmith Palais during the eighties. I can tell you now being overwhelmed by the sheer power and volume is no understatement. They made Hawkwind sound lame.

remember when this was new,around 1985.Great band.

Some songs is powerful, like you were on dark room and somebody turn lights on. And i'ts still a huge understatement. Killing Joke album number 1.
