No ! Killing Joke never sued or even threaten to file a copyright lawsuit against Nirvana. The reasons ?
1. Killing Joke admitted they ripped off this riff from The Damned's song "life goes on" so they would be hypocritical assholes if they tried to sue for copyright infringement.
2. They knew a lawsuit against Nirvana would mean they would certainly face a lawsuit from The Damned because Kurt Cobain had developed a friendship with 2 members of the Damned about a year before his death so in retaliation they said they would've hit Killing Joke with a lawsuit too.
3. In an interview the singer of K.J. said "rock bands suing rock bands is so dumb...not cool at all"
4. In another interview the singer of K.J. said "even if we wanted to, we didn't have the money, to do it."
