I don't know how many times that I've listened to this and like good red wine, it just seems to get better all the time.

He has the whole room mesmerized. That's what real music does. It takes you away.

Willie transcends boundaries and classification.  Just a all around great writer, singer, musician and good guy.

Notice how everyone in the room knows they’re witnessing a genius hands down

His guitar playing is mesmerizing to me.

I love this so much. The people in the audience. Willie truly killed it. Frickin awesome performance. YES!!

I can see myself, the first time watching this, thinking..oh this is blues..then.. no this western, then..nope I hear jazz..then, nope..I hear classical..Then.. screw it..It's Willie!!! What a musician!!!

This song was written and recorded in 1962. It still sounds incredible. This is the best version I have found.

When you can sit amongst your peers and almost reduce them to tears by your beautiful music, you're definitely doing something right.

no one ever mentions Willie's guitar work... i think he must be one of the most underrated guitarists in country.  clearly an artist who has mastered his craft.

Just look at Kris and his face during the song. It´s pure magic.

Dude... This man, Nelson, is such a pure soul. You have to admire that.

One of the finest guitar accompaniments I've ever heard.  His mastery of the guitar is so under-appreciated due to his songwriting, voice, and style.  It seems he's improvising and making it up on the fly as he's going along too.  Listen to the rhythmical changes and soulful, jazzy, and in some places even flamenco-ish instrumental riffs during his solos bring tears to my eyes. Just look at the faces of his peers as they listen to his fingers skate over that fretboard.
