This first appears on Ray's third album, 'Yes Indeed', released in 1958. Another live recording was made of this and it appears on Ray's 1959 album Ray Charles at Newport, and later on a Rhino compilation of Ray's live songs on an album titled Ray Charles in Concert. The song is based on Stephen Foster's 'Swanee River', which is now the official state song of Florida.
