I love to vocalize along with this when I'm home alone (even tho I took voice lessons 7 years, I don't "let loose" unless I'm alone). Saw them perform at the Tower Theater in Philly in '77, such a memorable concert!
I can thank Allison Steele the legendary "night bird" of WNEW FM in 1970s NYC for turning me on to Renaissance....not to mention Yes, Genesis, ELP and so much amazing music.
Ciao dall'Italia. I love Renaissance's progfolk as well as Krautrock (Amon Düül II at the first place). Renaissance first period: great band with a great lead voice (Annie Haslam).
Peace & Love!
Saw them every time they played Philadelphia, the northeast being their stomping ground. WMMR the radio station in Philadelphia was where I got the intro. Annie has the voice of an angel and the rest of the band WORLD CLASS!!! Have every album they put out including the two before Annie. And her two as well. And The gods smiled.
