Was a fan or Ricky from the beginning. He and I are only a few months apart in age. From the beginning he was very special. His songs talked right to all of us teenagers going through those difficult years. Have loved his music for a lot of years now and don't plan on changing. So very sorry we lost him what he had was a gift. You keep on sharing 'em and we will keep on listening. Ricky never grows old.
I feel the strong emotion in this song... Ricky gave us so many amazing songs to enjoy and cheer us up, yet he never asked for anything in return. Thank you Ricky! You were truly an amazing human being.
Like so many of my generation, Ricky was my first crush. Watched the show each week hoping he'd sing. Those eyes still get to me. He was gone too soon but I'm so glad he shared his talent with us. RIP, Ricky.
I used to watch him on television all the time. I was only 12 when this came out, but I remember it well. I loved all of his songs. I was able to see him in concert just before he had his fatal plane crash. Such a terrible loss for all of us.
