this is 1986, I used to hear this song on the radio when I was 18 years old

I love listening to this blasting from my car stereo, as I shoot down the highway.

One of the greatest albums of all time. Unbelievable that the only attention this band got in the us was The Breakfast Club. what a shame...

30 years ...how time has gone by, at 30 I was enjoying this group, today at 60 I remember the good times with my mates & the girls oooohhhh how nice it was. This song brings it all back, there is nothing like driving on a quiet road listening to this at full blast, wind blowing through my face, night sky, stars are out and "Sanctify Yourself" playing. May we never forget this group & the musical legacy.Peace 2 ya who remember

I got my "Once Upon a Time" cassette in 1985. Three hundred plays later it finally unraveled itself in my car. Gotta love the internet.

This Minds track is more AOR than it is new wave. These guys are criminally underrated. And screw Al Franken for hating them.

U2 and Simple Minds are my favourite bands from 80's, for obvious reasons - their frigginn awesome

Thirty years later, this song still rocks like almost no other, and the lyrics are super-special and ring fresh and true. In short, a classic masterpiece! Thanks.

Not too many bands can leave their biggest hit ("Dont You Forget About Me") off an album & and have that album still end up being a rock masterpiece.  Definitely one of my fav songs & albums of all time.
