This song renewed my faith in The Beach Boys. The first time I heard it on the radio every hair on my body stood on end and I rushed out to buy it. On my list of all time immaculate singles and it is quite a short list. The "B" side was no slouch either.

This song is way ahead of the time it was released. Man they're a cool band

Love that intro. How on earth did they create that noise. Masterstroke to start with that. Used to replay the intro over and over Probably my favourite BB track Just listened to the mastermix. It picks out all the instruments and vocals so cleanly. Difficult to say whether I prefer it to the old and dirty version. Merits in both

Before the last chorus, I always assumed they were just saying 'dum-be-doo-be', when really this shows it's 'come and do it'. It's cool to hear Brian's chorus line much more clearly, too.

Slowed down snare drum effect at beginning and Brian using his voice like a trumpet ...simply brilliant
